CenterImages enhances the way Safari shows ‟pages” that just consist of a single image.
First, the extension centers them in the browser window.
Secondly, it adds a nice background whose brightness can be adjusted.
Last but not least, you can enhance flat, dull images by double clicking beside them.

Just install CenterImages and try it on this Image.

Installation

1. download, 2. doubleclick.

Usage

  • An Extension Bar will appear when you first open an image URL.
    All functions are available without the Extension Bar.
    Use it if you like – or dismiss it with the × button on the right.
  • Click on the image to zoom in and out.
  • Click-and-drag on the background to adjust the brightness: up=brigther, down=darker.
  • Doubleclick on the background to toggle image optimization.
  • Enhanced images can be saved to disk via context menu
    (Please append '.png' to the filename after download).
  • You can customize the appearance in the preferences.
